Joelina Redden is Counsel and a member of the Insurance team within the Corporate & Commercial department. She practises corporate and commercial law, specialising in providing legal advice on (re)insurance matters, including regulatory and transactional advice, segregated account structures, alternative risk transfer and insurance linked security vehicles, public and private offerings, restructurings, acquisitions and amalgamations.

Joelina joined the firm’s Hong Kong office in 1995 working in corporate administration and as a legal assistant. After four years in the Hong Kong office, She returned to school in 1999 to study law. She rejoined the group in 2001 in its Bermuda office, completing her training programme and being called to the Bermuda Bar in September 2002 at which time she became an associate in the Corporate & Commercial department.

Chambers Global 2012 recognised Joelina as an ‘Associate to watch’ in insurance and said that clients enjoy working with her.
