Appleby Mauritius advises on the issue of USD 300 million senior secured bonds to be listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange
Leading offshore law firm Appleby, has acted as Mauritius legal counsel to TiZir Limited on the issue of 9.5%, USD 300 million senior secured bonds, which are to be listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
The Appleby team was led by Managing Partner, Malcolm Moller and assisted by Senior Associate, Manisha Lallah.
TiZir Limited is a 50/50 joint venture between ERAMET of France and Mineral Deposits Limited. Mineral Deposits Limited is an established, ASX listed, integrated mining company and ERAMET of France is a world leader in alloying metals, particularly manganese and nickel, and in high-quality metallurgy. The TiZir joint venture comprises of two integrated, operating assets; the Grande Côte mineral sands operation in Senegal, West Africa and the TiZir Titanium & Iron ilmenite upgrading facility in Tyssedal, Norway.
Appleby advised TiZir Limited on the Mauritius law aspects of the transaction, alongside Advokatfirmaet Selmer DA and Mayer Brown International LLP who advised on Norwegian and English law.
