Peter joins Appleby from Serle Court, one of the top-ranking sets of barristers’ chambers at the English Bar, and brings with him 30 years of experience in the litigation and arbitration fields. He was called to the Bar in 1981 and appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2008.
His expertise in complex disputes sits across a wide range of industry sectors, from financial services (including funds, swaps, banking and regulatory issues) to energy, shipping and trusts,. This, combined with Peter’s very extensive courtroom experience, makes him an excellent fit for Appleby.
Peter is widely recognised in the profession. He has been described by clients in Chambers legal directory as somebody who “possesses an unquestionably magnificent intellect and displays admirable speed in getting to the point” and “gives a master class when on his feet.”
