Louise MacDougall has been appointed as an Associate within the firm’s Corporate and Finance teams. She will be working on a range of corporate, finance, investment funds and private client matters in conjunction with other members of the Zurich office. Prior to joining Appleby, Louise worked with leading firms in Dubai and the Cayman Islands.Louise is a graduate of the University of Dundee and also the University of Edinburgh. She was admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland in June 1994 (now non-practising) and as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands in February 2005.
Sophie Tod has been appointed as an Associate within the Trusts Practice Group. She will be providing non-contentious trust services to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private banks and trust companies within the Swiss market. Prior to joining Appleby Sophie worked for leading firms in Geneva and Bermuda.
Sophie is a graduate of the University of Leeds and also the University of London, where she completed a Masters in Corporate and Commercial Law. She was admitted as a Solicitor in Bermuda in 2002.
