The winners were announced at the Awards ceremony on 18 September 2009 at the Conrad Hotel, Hong Kong. Appleby partners Jeffrey Kirk and Judy Lee were in attendance.

Appleby were also shortlisted for the Offshore Law Firm of the Year category.
