Mike O’Connell is the Managing Partner of the Jersey office which has around 135 staff, including more than 65 fee-earners. Active in Jersey’s finance sector since its inception, the Jersey office’s lawyers have helped to shape and develop the island’s financial services’ laws and regulations. With an excellent reputation for litigation, property, and corporate and financial services, as well as private client and corporate trust work, our clients include financial institutions, global corporations, FTSE 100, Fortune 500 companies and high-net-worth individuals. In addition, members of the office advise London City and international law firms on all legal aspects of offshore corporate, finance and investment fund transactions and arrangements in Jersey.
The Jersey office also has a flourishing trust company – Appleby Trust Jersey Limited - which provides offshore trust and administration services to an enviable array of global and UK businesses, such as Marks & Spencer, Diageo, Barclays and Trinity Mirror, as well as private individuals.
