The Appleby Hong Kong office addresses the needs of an expanding client base in the Asia Pacific region, particularly Asian sourced offshore companies listed on the Hong Kong, United States (Nasdaq and New York), Singapore and other internationally recognised stock exchanges. Our Hong Kong office, together with the organisation's offices in Bahrain, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Mauritius, the Seychelles, Zurich and London, provides a seamless global service.
The lawyers in our Hong Kong office provide a wide range of advice on the law of Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, including the establishment of investment funds, special purpose vehicles and structured finance products, insurance companies and insurance products, securitisation, financing transactions and public and private holding companies. They are also able to facilitate the provision of legal advice in Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Mauritius and the Seychelles. Additionally, Appleby Corporate Services (HK) Ltd., provides corporate administration services when required.
Frances Woo is the Managing Partner of our Hong Kong office, which has approximately 50 people, including ten lawyers and six corporate administrators. The lawyers in our Hong Kong office are conversant in English, Japanese, Cantonese, Putonghua and other Chinese dialects as well as Japanese.
