In addition to deals involving international institutions, the group is involved in many of the islands’ biggest financial transactions. The team offers our clients a wide range of services in relation to numerous forms of financing transactions.

We act on behalf of banks and other financial institutions and have extensive experience in advising on:
- Syndicated letter of credit facilities in support of insurance/reinsurance and capital market liability
- On-shore lending secured by a portfolio of securities offshore with or without custodial obligations
- Trade finance e.g. documentary credits, ISDA agreements
- Reviewing terms/conditions of standard facility and security documentation
- Financing power projects in Asia and Latin America; telecommunications ventures in South America; and oil and gas projects in a number of countries
Ship & Aircraft Registration and Finance
We act for ship-owners, aircraft owners, lessors, lessees, banks and other financial institutions. Transactions are invariably international, and to that extent we have developed contacts with numerous law firms, shipping groups and financial institutions around the globe. Our lawyers have extensive experience in advising on a broad range of shipping and aircraft transactions including:
