The group consists of professionals at all levels of their career from entry level to experienced chartered accountants.

Information Technology – In the field of technology there is a range of options available including hardware configuration, maintenance and repair; help desk administration and user -support; database administration; network administration and systems security. Our team of technologists supports a global, professional services organisation around the clock.

Human Resources – If your career interests lean to the staffing functions in an organisation, we have an active human resource development department, where all recruitment, screening, hiring, employee relations, training and organisational development occurs. There is a limited number of opportunities for entry-level applicants, but more opportunities for experienced HR professionals who can meet the demands of a growing organisation.

Marketing - Join a global team of individuals who work with the legal, fiduciary and administration teams to build the firm’s brand, develop and implement marketing plans, and communicate the firm’s capabilities to our key audiences. Members of the group are involved with developing publications, the website, advertisements, public relations, events, CRM, marketing planning, market research and sponsorships.

Knowledge Management – Our knowledge management professionals provide a wide- ranging expertise to the group, including the development and updating of know-how and best practices, portal design and content management, legal research and training, business information and competitive intelligence gathering, records management and law library science. Some of our team hold legal qualifications and moved into this multidisciplinary field as an alternative legal career.

Compliance - Join a global team of compliance professionals who provide in-house compliance services that effectively support business areas in their duty to comply with relevant laws and regulations. Group members oversee internal procedures and in particular, implement and enforce anti-money laundering/terrorist financing policies and procedures.

Corporate Administration - Experienced corporate administrators provide corporate administrative services to a portfolio of international and local companies. These individuals must possess knowledge of company law, local regulation and the requirements of individual company's constitutional documents. Administrative secretaries in the group support corporate administrators. The administrative secretary positions can serve as entry level positions, providing career progression to the position of corporate administrator through outstanding performance and extensive in-house training.

Trusts Administration - Qualified and experienced trust professionals are responsible for the effective administration of a portfolio of local and international trusts. These individuals must possess a sound knowledge of trust legislation, local regulation and the requirements of the documentation to carry out the trustee's fiduciary responsibilities. There are Senior Trust Officers, Trust Officers and Trust Administrators along with the support of administrative secretaries. It is highly recommended that those individuals interested in pursuing a career in trusts undertake the internationally accredited professional designation known as the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management.

Paralegals- Legal Assistants, Legal Executives or Paralegals may find opportunities in the areas of Trademarks and Intellectual Property in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda, Litigation in Bermuda and Jersey, and Corporate and Commercial practice in Hong Kong. Working directly with lawyers, paralegals maintain a portfolio of professional work and conduct legal research.

Secretarial – The law firm environment calls for experienced legal secretaries, familiar with the standards required by the courts, corporate clients, trusts and property work. Given the increasing computer skills of our legal teams, we often have one secretary working for two or more lawyers, assisting with document production, practice management and general organisation.

Facilities – Appleby has offices in Bermuda, the BVI, Cayman, Hong Kong, Jersey, London and Mauritius. Building management, equipment and furniture purchasing and managing air quality systems are all a significant part of creating and maintaining a comfortable, safe and healthy environment for our employees.
