About the Cayman Islands
Nestled in the heart of the western Caribbean, only a 1 hour and 10 minutes flight from Miami and a 30 minutes flight from Kingston, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands have the highest standard of living in the Caribbean. The population of over 50,000, prides themselves on being diverse, exciting and “cosmopolitan”, and consist of residents from over 90 nations.
Life on Grand Cayman is very sociable and very easy. Residents enjoy a full complement of water sports, including some of the world’s best diving, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing, boating and kayaking to name a few. For the land lubbers, Cayman has several sports, social and service clubs as well as a number of world class art galleries, bars, restaurants, theatres, shops, museums, gyms, parks, golf courses, historic sights and botanical gardens, in addition to the world famous beaches.
Appleby’s Cayman office has approximately over 150 staff including 35 lawyers and is growing at a rapid pace. We provide extensive assistance with relocating, settling in and helping adapt to life in Cayman for new team members, and their families, joining our Cayman office from other countries.
