The group strives to provide commercially sound, objective jurisdictional guidance based on in-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environments of our key offshore jurisdictions. With over 800 lawyers and professional specialists, the organisation is uniquely positioned in the key offshore jurisdictions of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Mauritius and the Seychelles as well as the financial centres of London, Hong Kong, Zurich and Bahrain.
All of the offshore jurisdictions in which we operate are well- respected financial centres and are on the OECD “white list”. We adhere to the highest standards of anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism and transparency.
The group’s Corporate and Commercial practice focuses on international finance, including structured and asset finance, capital markets, funds and private equity. The group also has a very extensive insurance practice. The highly regarded Litigation and Insolvency practice represents both international and local companies. The Private Client & Trusts practice, complemented by our trust companies, offers in depth services to corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals. The Property group represents financial institutions, corporations and individuals in their rapidly growing offshore markets.
