Our approach
In each community we have taken time to identify partners with whom we can make a positive, enduring impact and develop long-term relationships. We have worked with our community partners to select a range of projects providing support in education, sports development, the environment, the arts and for disadvantaged groups.
Our projects aim to:
- Encourage community spirit and inclusivity across all age groups and sectors of the community.
- Embody the values and spirit of fairness, equality, open communication, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
- Encourage the development of skills and talent.
- Provide opportunities for our staff to be actively involved in the projects we support.
Projects include sponsoring a Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research golf day; encouraging young people to get involved in sports via cricket, table tennis, youth football, martial arts and basketball programmes; wildlife conservation, including protecting sea turtles in the Cayman Islands; and preserving local heritage with the Jersey Archive.
