Appleby is the sole sponsor of the Jersey Heritage project 'What's Your Story?'.
In 2010 and 2011, the project, renamed "What’s Your Street’s Story?", is exploring the stories of the people who have lived and worked on our streets or in our houses over the centuries.
Streets across the Island have been selected by public vote and each ‘Street Story’ is being retold at monthly talks during the Saturday open days at Jersey Archive. The streets in 2010 included St Saviour's Hill and Road, Castle Street and the Esplanade, Route des Côtils and Fauvic, and Rue de Croquet St Aubin.

The "What’s Your Story?" project started in 2008 with a series of free family history talks at Jersey Archive. In 2009, the project continued with monthly Saturday open days at Jersey Archive and a series of themed talks. Each year, Appleby has been proud to work with Jersey Heritage on the project.
Linda Romeril, Head of Archives and Collections at Jersey Heritage, commented: “Without the support of Appleby we would not be able to reach the working community and allow them to discover more about their Island’s cultural heritage.”
David Benest, Managing Partner of Appleby in Jersey, added: "We are delighted to continue working with Jersey Heritage in 2011. We are enjoying the new series of talks focusing on our local communities and the people who have lived there. We hope people feel included and encouraged to take part, and learn more about their Island’s history. The Archive is a very important resource to both individuals and companies and we are pleased to help enhance access to it and raise public awareness generally."
